Out of Office #13 ‘A new era of housing'
The need for affordable housing is increasing in Amsterdam. Over the past few years, rents have skyrocketed, the supply of social housing has decreased, and small apartments are being sold for incredibly high prices. These trends fuel urban inequality and segregation.
During Kennisland’s Out of Office #13 ‘A new era of housing’ we will try to deepen our understanding of urban housing issues and explore different types of solutions. What kind of city do we want to live in?
Speakers include Joop de Boer, co-founder of Pop-Up City. He will share insights from his research on the future of urban living.
Date: Friday September 29th
Time: 17.00 – 19.00
Spring House, De Ruyterkade 128, Amsterdam
