Book Club: Frame Innovation
On July 4th we hosted the Strategic Creativity Book Club. The Book Club aims to be an approachable, walk-in, sense-making moment, and we try to keep it low-threshold, but thought-provoking and productive. It is more of a place to help us form, rather than to debate or defend opinions. A place to listen and process what you hear while making your own connections.
This edition was devoted to Frame Innovation: Create New Thinking by Design by Kees Dorst. We had the honour to have Kees join us for the discussion, who revealed his thinking behind the book and shared new thoughts that had come up since publishing Frame Innovation.
For the next club meeting, we’re discussing the book Adversarial Design by Carl DiSalvo, on how design can provoke and engage the political.
